CB500-LT SERIES SWITCHING BATTERY CHARGER

The new CB522-LT switching battery charger is exclusively dedicated to the automatic charging of lithium batteries. It is protected from over-temperature and the 12V outputs are protected from short circuit and reverse polarity

Four-step charging system for 12V batteries:
Bulk – charging the battery with maximum current until the end of charge voltage is reached. NB: The end of charge is reached only if the battery is efficient.

Absorption – completion of battery charging with constant end-of-charge voltage for a maximum time of 1h (or 30 minutes with I<5A).

Float – Maintenance charge at a constant voltage of 13.5V for a maximum time of 240 hours.
If the insertion of a high load lowers the battery voltage below 12.7V, the cycle restarts from the Bulk phase.

Refresh – The battery is charged at a voltage of 14.5V for a maximum time of 30 minutes (or up to I<5A). Subsequently the charge restarts from the Float phase.
The high frequency switching technology allows to obtain high efficiency with reduced weights and dimensions.
